Here you will be able to find my image telling you how much of a shot of a snow you will have if you are a kid in school. This is only my probabilities and what i will forecast by. I have been rather accurate over the years.

It usually takes from 5 to 6 inches of new snowfall for area superintendents to begin a discussion about closing schools. It’s best to be able to announce the night before, but most times, the superintendents have to wait until morning because many times, weather predictions are incorrect. If announced in the morning - it’s usually between 5:30 and 6:00 AM

  2. Craig, just a note, they said if we were to get 1 more inch of snow than we had our previous snowstorm on FEB 5th, they would of cancelled OPS. Just wanted to let you know that to see what they go by.
