The Omaha Weather Office website is dedicated to Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota. Craig McPeck is the owner and Forecaster of the website and issues daily forecast for for the above mentioned states. You may also find Extended Forecast, Threat Tracker Outlook, Snow Day Cast and our Warnings/Watches/Advisories will be issued when needed! Their is also a ‘Ask Craig’ service where you can ask Craig McPeck a weather question! If you have any questions please email me at craigomahawx@gmail.com

Omaha Weather Office Forecast Zones/Regions

When will the website be updated?

Omaha Weather Office is usually update at the following times;

Mornings - (Monday’s - Friday’s) The morning forecast is usually updated between 7:45 and 8:30 AM
Mid Afternoons - (Monday’s - Friday’s) The mid afternoon updates are usually made between 2:00 - 2:30 PM
Late Afternoon -(7 Days a week) A much longer detailed weather forecast updated anywhere from 3:00 - 5:00 PM

During storm systems, the blog and website may be updated more often.

  1. Like your site. I agree that the GFS seems to be a little more accurate this winter with the snow. As cold as it will be, we could get more snow than most are predicting. Keep up the nice work.
