Brief Snowfall period and COLD weather in the Northern Plains

Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa got a brief period of intense snow overnight. Areas in SW Iowa saw betwen 1-3″ of snowfall and areas in Eastern Nebraska saw 1″ or less. Most highs in Nebraska and iowa will struggle to make it out of the teens for highs and highs in eastern Iowa will be in the single digits and teens.

Strong Southern Plains SNOW STORM

WOW! Houston and Dallas seeing snow?!?! Its true! Parts of thr Dallas area say 4-6″ of snowfall yesterday! Areas in Northern Arkansas will be seeing heavy snow with 4-8″ of snowfall expected! Currently their is a more significant band of snow in the appalacians and Ohio Valley and another band in western Arkansas as of 7:58 AM. Areas near Buffalo New York may see between 12-20″ of snowfall with teh entire event! Minus the lake effect possibilities! E
